Kusa is a teal Tawny fish owl with brown eyes and a yellow beak who belongs to Raya. He wears a tan Asian conical hat, a flower collar that resembles Raya's and a golden yellow tail ornament.
Story[]
Kusa is a brilliant storyteller and the rest of his friends love to huddle around and listen to his tales about Raya's adventures. Although he likes to nap in the day he never wants to miss anything, day or night, and is always dropping in, usually off a high branch, to see what's going on.
